President Hillary Clinton addresses Nation following attack on Pearl Harbor

FOLLOWING THE VICIOUS UNPROVOKED ATTACK ON THE AMERICAN PACIFIC FLEET AT PEARL HARBOR BY FORCES OF THE EMPIRE OF JAPAN PRESIDENT HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON IN A RADIO ADDRESS TO THE NATION SAID, "THE ONLY THING THAT AMERICANS NEED FEAR IN AN UNREASONABLE FEAR OF THE JAPANESE PEOPLE.  THOSE THAT ATTACKED US ONLY REPRESENTED A TINY MINORITY OF THE PEACEFUL JAPANESE NATION. AND WE SHOULD EMPATHIZE WITH THEM AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND THEIR MOTIVES".  PRESIDENT CLINTON WENT ON TO SAY THAT NEGOTIATIONS WITH JAPAN SHOULD CONTINUE SO THAT WE COULD REACH A PEACEFUL SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEMS THAT DIVIDE US.  PRESIDENT CLINTON CONTINUED, SAYING THAT WHEN THE PREVIOUS REPUBLICAN ADMINISTRATION DEPLOYED THE PACIFIC FLEET FROM SAN FRANCISCO TO HAWAII  A TRAGIC MISTAKE WAS MADE THAT RESULTED IN THIS TERRIBLE LOSS OF LIFE.  THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF TOLD A GRIEVING NATION THAT SHE HAD ORDERED WHAT WAS LEFT OF THE FLEET TO RETURN TO SAN FRANCISCO.
A LITTLE FICTIONAL SATIRE TO BE SURE.  BUT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF TODAY IS NOT THE PARTY OF FDR OR EVEN JFK.  TODAY'S DEMOCRATS HAVE MOVED SO FAR TO THE LEFT THAT ROOSEVELT AND KENNEDY WOULD NOT RECOGNIZE THEM.
